Our products are designed for the most accurate and consistent application, while upholding safety protocols. Thermach plasma coating equipment is typically used to apply Thermal Barrier Coatings where extreme temperature protection is needed. Applications include the hot side of the jet engine and nose cones of various rockets for re-entry, rocket engine nozzles, combustor units inside of jet engines.

Thermach torch extensions are designed to get into smaller diameter combustors or tubes.

Plasma is also used to apply tungsten carbide on certain areas that have part-to-part contact. Used to spray abradable coatings such as Aluminum Polyester or other abradable seal coatings.

Combustible gases such as argon, helium, hydrogen, and nitrogen are commonly used in plasma coating. Thermach systems are designed to the highest safety protocols.

HVOF

HVOF

High bond strength and coating density make HVOF systems an ideal process to apply tungsten carbide anti-wear coatings and hard chrome replacements such as landing gear on aircraft.

Our products are designed for the most accurate and consistent application while upholding safety protocols. Specifically, the AT-8000 system features safety controls such as air purge to make sure that no flammable gas enters the electrical cabinet and prevent leakage of Hydrogen (a common concern, since the molecules are so small), as well as e-stop controls.
