AT-400 Pull Torch Assembly (Torch Not Included)
The AT-400 pull torch enables the user to place the torch further away from the wire feeder. Most wires do not like to be pushed greater than 15 feet (soft wires like zinc, 10 feet). By adding this component to your wire feeder, you now have a true push/pull system, and the ability to spray up to 25 feet.
 
The pull torch consists of two main pieces, the drive assembly, and the torch head.
 
Unlike traditional pull torches that use air to drive the drive wheels, we utilize an electric motor, which saves on air, maintenance, and money. The drive tension is adjusted by a central, self-leveling, adjustment knob, ensuring equal pressure on both castings. Drive rolls are available for both 14- and 11-gauge wire.
 
The torch shares the same platform as the standard AT-400 torch head, with the only modifications coming in the form of a quick connect air fitting and output guides. This allows the user to stock the same set of guides and air caps for multiple operations.
